About Defcort 6 mg Tablet:
Each uncoated Defcort 6 mg tablet contains Deflazacort 6 mg.
Defcort 6 mg tablet is a corticosteroid pro-drug, whose active metabolite 21-desacetyl deflazacort binds to the glucocorticoid receptor to exert anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects on the body.
Use of Defcort 6 mg Tablet:
Defcort 6 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of various disease conditions, including autoimmune disorders (rheumatoid arthritis), inflammatory disorders (asthma & allergies), neoplastic disorders, and other steroid-responsive disorders. It is also useful in duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Usage direction of Defcort 6 mg Tablet:
 
Defcort 6 mg tablet should be taken orally.
Defcort 6 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
